Welcome to our first Titan Feature!
In these posts I will be discussing various features of TitanoMachia's unique style & gameplay mechanics; in this first edition we will be discussing how elements will play a vital role in combat, as well as hero design.
Elements cast an important role in TitanoMachia in that every single Titan embodies a unique element. As seen before, Helios is the incarnation of fire, such as it is with Tethys, the Sea Titan, or Ophion, Titan of Earth. One must learn to skillfully harness and manipulate their element in order to be victorious in the Pit of Tartaros. For example, Ophion is able to birth earth elementals from rock to act as his minions, whether to fight on his behalf or to be reabsorbed into his earthen skin as a defense mechanism- however you choose to wield the force of Earth is up to you.
Let's see other ways that the Titans are able to beckon the Elements (subject to change):
Casting Call of Earth upon a rock pillar, Ophion is able to animate the stone to do his bidding:
Ophion is even capable to call forth an army of earthen guardians, which he may absorb into his marl crust, growing in size and further fortifying his defenses:
Tethys is able to summon the tides; casting Call of Water, he commands the sea to wake and surge all around him:
With the waters at his command, Tethys can then launch an awesome watery torrent at his foes, blasting them with the fierceness of the tides.
With the waters at his command, Tethys can then launch an awesome watery torrent at his foes, blasting them with the fierceness of the tides.
Keravnos, Sovereign of the Storm, is able to ride the winds, brandishing the madness of the tempest:
Ascending the skies, Keravnos can rain horrible bolts of lightning on his foes, tearing apart the battlefield:
And lastly, as noted in our first ever Titan Reveal, Helios is able to pour molten death upon his adversaries:
